Review: Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask

Daily Ritual: Smooth thick layers of this creamy mask over your face and neck at sunset twice a week, or as skin calls.–The instructions

The Antipodes Aura Manuka Honey Mask relaxes after its post sunset ritual.

First of all, this mask smells amaaaaazing. It’s sweet with a hint of orange, but not too overpowering. I hadn’t tried anything from Antipodes before, but I had high expectations because my British YouTube girls always rave about the brand. This creamy, hydrating mask didn’t disappoint.

As per the instructions, I stood dramatically at the window, watching a blood red sun set over the mountains while I smeared half the bottle over my face (lol, no I didn’t this shit is like $40). I think this mask would work at other times too, if sunset isn’t your bag.

When I rinsed the mask off, I noticed that my skin already felt softer and soothed. I like that the Manuka honey has antibacterial properties, so it helps fight blemishes, but it doesn’t dry out my skin like other acne-fighting products usually do.

If you’re looking for a soothing, hydrating mask, but you don’t want to upset acne prone skin, I’d say give this mask a go.
