(Mostly Skincare) Products I’ve Used Up

I’m sure y’all have heard of an empties post before, but if you haven’t, it’s where I basically talk about my trash, give you a quick review, and decide whether or not I would buy it again.

First up, Cetaphil cleanser. When my skin decided to freak out about six months ago now, I decided to get the most simple cleanser I can find and never give it up. Cetaphil keeps my skin soft and clean without irritating it, and I will most certainly repurchase it.

The next one I haven’t technically used up, but I haven’t used it in two months and I don’t have much space in my medicine cabinet. It’s not necessarily Natio’s Pure and Gentle Cleanisng Cream’s fault that I don’t like it, but mostly my own, since I was stupid enough to think that a cleansing cream would piss off my already DANGEROUS skin.

Bioderma is amazing, and thank the beauty Gods that I can buy it here in Australia. I use it to take off my make up, or wake my skin up in the morning before I do my Yoga With Adriene videos. This huge bottle has lasted me nearly a year, so it’s a good investment to make.

The Simple Kind to Skin Vital Vitamins moisturizer served it’s purpose as a nighttime moisturizer. I figure using  nighttime moisturizers with simple ingredients and mixing them with rosehip oil has worked well for my skin. But, I already like its’ replacement, the Sukin nighttime cream, better. No repurchase.

I’ve been using the Neutrogena Visibly Even Daily Moisturizer for about a year and a half now (I know, we’re practically dating), but sadly, I had to buy a new day time moisturizer with SPF, because the chemist I was in didn’t have my tried and true, and I am impatient. Obviously, though, I love this product, it keeps my skin hydrated and protected from the sun without breaking me out.

Luckily, I bought a back up L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte foundation in America, so I don’t have to pay freaking $30 for it yet! Haha!! This is my ride or die foundation, it’s a good shade match, it makes my skin look flawless, doesn’t make it mad, and lasts all day. Done and done.

Lastly is the Dove Refresh and Care Volume Dry Shampoo, which I have used on and off for a few years. I think it may have been the first dry shampoo I ever bought. I usually try other brands of dry shampoo, but none give me the amazing volume/ sexual bedhead that this does (ahem, Batiste).
